Got some bits and pieces for my Truffle dress. Couldn’t find anything close to what I was after (orange flower-power or houndstooth), but I guess it serves me right for going to Spotlight after they’ve been on sale for a few weeks. Still, at $4 per metre I can’t complain, and the peachy colours are rather pretty. Now to sew!

Finally finished sewing the Colette Patterns Pastille dress! I tried to imitate the image on the front of the book. I didn’t manage to fit it perfectly, but learned heaps!

I’ve been resisting the Black Friday sales, but couldn’t say no to this one! Can’t wait to get back into sewing.
Just ordered some of this lovely French netting to make my wedding veil. Never done anything like it before, aside from some very dodgy tulle veils for a hens party - hope it works out!
Dammit, I found lovely stripy yellow fabric like this at Spotlight the other day, but decided not to buy it. It looks so beautiful here!
